What type of gas?

Only use highly refined butane gas for lighters with your Lydian.
Before refilling, read the safety instructions and warning labels on your butane canister carefully.
Butane is highly flammable — handle and refill with care, away from heat, sparks, or open flame.

Before Refilling

Release all remaining pressure by gently pressing the inlet valve with a bleeding tool. You can use a screwdriver if needed, but it’s not recommended as it may damage the brass valve if not careful.

Set the flame dial to the lowest setting (–) before refilling, and avoid overturning the adjustment.

Refilling Lydian

Hold the lighter upside down and insert the butane canister tip directly into the fuel valve.
Ensure a proper docking to the valve, and press down firmly for about 6 seconds.
Wait 6–9 minutes after refilling for the butane to stabilize at room temperature.
Set the flame level to the desired height using a small screwdriver.
• Turn toward (+) to increase the flame, or toward (–) to decrease.
Do not adjust the flame while lit, and avoid over-turning the dial.
